Vinoo Mathur

With a dedicated service to Indian Railways spanning 1971-2008, Mr. Mathur has held key roles, including Member Traffic, Railway Board, General Manager, Northern Railway, Secretary Railway Board, and Divisional Railway Manager, Dhanbad. Post-retirement, he served as Managing Director of the Bharuch Dahej Railway Company. An accomplished author, he has penned two books: “Indian Railway Buildings – Heritage, History & Beyond” published by Niyogi Books and “Bridges, Buildings & Black Beauties of Northern Railway” published by the Institute of Rail Transport. He was also an independent Director on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation and contributed to the Mumbai Ahmedabad High-Speed Railway Project. Notable for his rail heritage passion, he presides as President of the Rail Enthusiasts’ Society.
