Former Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan and Singapore, Mr. Raghavan has also served as Director General of the Indian Council of World Affairs. Being a renowned author, his books include ‘Attendant Lords, Bairam Khan and Abdur Rahim – Courtiers and Poets in Mughal India’ (awarded the Mohammad Habib Memorial Prize), ‘The People Next Door – The Curious History of India’s Relations with Pakistan,’ and ‘History Men: Jadunath Sarkar, G S Sardesai, Raghubir Sinh and Their Quest for India’s Past.’ He co-authored ‘Sapru House, A Story of Institution Building in World Affairs,’ detailing the history of India’s premier foreign policy think tank.
