Rahul Ramagundam

An acclaimed author and academic, Professor Ramagundam is celebrated for penning ‘The Life and Times of George Fernandes,’ an acclaimed biography of the maverick socialist leader, who was also India’s Defence Minister in his long political career. The book took twelve years to complete and was received remarkably well by reviewers and readers His other notable works, ‘Including The Socially Excluded’ and ‘Gandhi’s Khadi,’ uniquely blend archival history and social anthropology. He is also the recipient of prestigious fellowships, including the Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for 2024. Professor Ramagundam contributes to academia while teaching at Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi.
