Alongwith an Ancient Indian Culture and History graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Mass Communications diploma from Sophia Polytechnic, Ms. Khandekar also has an M.Phil in French from the University of Pune. As an Army officer’s wife, she’s lived in 12 states. Retiring after two decades of teaching Masters in French at the University of Pune, she founded ‘Heritage India Communications Pvt. Ltd’ in 2007. For 16 years, the company has championed India’s heritage through publications, online courses, heritage walks, tours, workshops, and seminars. Her recent endeavor, “Punyakatha – Pune’s Story of a million years – a children’s book cum family encyclopedia,” reflects her dedication to preserving India’s rich cultural legacy.
