A Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and LIAS Fellow at the University of Leicester, UK (2023), Ms. Nath gained acclaim for her book “Memsahibs: British Women in Colonial India” (2022), nominated for the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2023. Her short story collection, “The Rickshaw Reveries” (Simon & Schuster India, 2020), also received a Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar nomination in 2021. Currently, she’s crafting her upcoming book, “In Sickness and in Health: Deadly Diseases of Colonial India,” slated for publication by HarperCollins. She formerly worked as an Assistant Professor in English at a University of Delhi constituent college.
