Parul Pandya Dhar is Professor of Art History in the Department of History at the University of Delhi. An alumnus of Kalakshetra, the National Museum, and Delhi University, she has received grants and fellowships from the German Humboldt Foundation and the Getty Foundation. An author, artiste, and columnist, her work engages with ancient and medieval Indian and Southeast Asian visual and performing arts. Her recent book is Connected Histories of India and Southeast Asia (ed., Sage, 2023), and her forthcoming monograph examines artistic processes in the early Deccan.
