Madhavi Thampi, Honorary Fellow at the Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi, is a leading historian of India-China relations. A former editor of China Report and professor at Delhi University, she authored Indians in China, 1800-1949, and co-authored China and the Making of Bombay. Her research explores India-China interactions during World War II.
