Rajani was Visiting Fellow Commoner, Trinity College Cambridge and Visiting Scholar, McDonanld Institute of Archaeology (Easter 2025); Academic Visitor Ashoka University (Jan-Mar 2025); member of the Indian National Young Academy of Science (2018–2023) serving on its core committee representing Earth Science (2022-23); Young Affiliate of The World Academy of Sciences (2019–2023); and recipient of the P.R. Pisharoty Memorial Award (2019) from the Indian Society of Remote Sensing and Rachapudi Kamakshi Memorial Young Geospatial Scientist Award 2011.
