C. Yamini Krishna

C. Yamini Krishna works at the intersections of film history, urban history, and Deccan history. She is the author of Film City Urbanism: Hyderabad, From Princely City to Global City, 1890–2000 and co-editor of Claims on the City. She has curated film exhibitions and archives on cinema, photography, and modern Deccani culture, and made the film Ilm Ka Shehar. Her research and writing examine cinema’s relationship with cities, society, and historical change across media and public platforms.
