Naman P. Ahuja is Professor of Art History at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and the General Editor of Marg. His research and curatorial work focus on ancient Indian art, including terracottas and small everyday objects, examining the foundations of Indian visual aesthetics. His publications and exhibitions explore iconography, transcultural exchanges in antiquity, and the historiography of the Arts and Crafts Movement. His writings have been translated into several Indian and international languages, including Hindi, Marathi, French, Spanish, and Dutch.
